- B. Sc. in Engineering Science at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) with a specialisation in mechatronics and automotive - 1 semester abroad at the University of British Columbia (Canada) - M.Sc. in Industrial Ecology at Leiden University and TU Delft. I am currently working on my Master Thesis to finish this degree.
Experience
I have been employed as a tutor both by the University of Bayreuth and TU Delft. In Bayreuth, I tutored the subject "Measurement Technology" at the department of Electrical Engineering. This involved giving self-prepared tutor lessons and presenting solutions to student classes. Since I really enjoyed this experience, I worked as a teaching assistant also at TU Delft for the course ""Design of Sustainable Technological Systems". Here, my colleague and I developed and corrected assignments to support fellow students, who often struggle with this course. Next to tutoring at universities, I worked as a private tutor for the subjects of German, Mathematics and Physics at high school level. Furthermore, I worked as a supervisor in childcare at schools, refugee accommodations and ecclesial communities. I really appreciate the education culture here in The Netherlands, since teachers are very open and treat their students kindly and with respect. Therefore, I would like to support children or students in achieving their educational goals, such that they can realize their expectations for their personal future. When it comes to teaching, I strongly believe in the value of a good personal relationship between the teacher and the student. I think, trust and respect play a crucial role in the process of learning and understanding.

Hobbies
I enjoy spending my free time with friends or family. Furthermore, I like to be active such as cycling, hiking, yoga and swimming. I consider sports as an important activity to refresh the mind and to gain new energy for the next day. I love being in nature and discovering new places and cultures. This is also why I went to Vancouver and The Netherlands to study.
